I was in NYC for a week. While in Union Square(NYU's students common area) I saw a section on Tezuka Osamu upstairs at the Forbidden Planet comics shop. I loved this mans drawings and then realized he was the original creator of Astro Boy, the world famous Japanese Manga Anime character. Astro Boy brings to mind the Goylem myth of Jewish lore. I am interested in how people project themselves into objects or how imaginary vessels recieve precieved realities and respond in real time to their containment. For example, the Goylem took on Bezae's intent. In the thoughts we pass osmotically to "real" life objects, how do we manifest our own psyche-goylem, metastasizing around base desires. Mine would be a little monkey in my trunk called Shin Shin.
