Who defines life in terms of 3 years…crack heads, heroine junkies? I have been drawing rulers with intentionally wrong dimensions lately. It has made me skeptical of measuring tools. A case of staring into the void, and it staring back I think. I have lived in old houses for for most of my life and have worked on a few that needed remodeling. First rule is to assume nothing is plumb or level. Now I live in a newer home and many things are plumb and level.

Deemphasize the bottom line accentuate quality. Q= efficiency. Then turn that Edward Bernays public relations ray on high retina scorch and push products that are durable beyond 3 years.
