Paint is icing

Young eyes saw poetry in peeling paint
older now
just reminds me of what I ain't
I see you through the window
Rippling flower ghost over the ground
Sunlight through wavey still water panes

Icy stiff sills barring me the gravy train

I pray This too shall come to pass
Cause it's awful dry words
Finding the bottom of my glass
