My son and I went downtown today. He got the idea to do some stop animation in a crowd of people. We ended up at the Casa Monica. I drew while he filmed. There was a guy there next to us that said he was in Iraq. He was about 50 yrs. old. I overheard him talk about trying to get back into a finance field and stay out of trouble. That they train you for all this violence, then they throw you back in with all of these civilians. I think he was remarking on how crazy the civilian life and civilians in general really was.
