Nacht Hexen

I was listening to Dan Carlin's Hardcore history podcast. ( http://www.dancarlin.com/disp.php?page=hharchive ) This one was about WWII. In particular the conflict between The Nazi's and the Red Army. The podcast showed how the Russians would allow women to go into battle where as the Germans strictly forbade the practice. One example was a corp of female bomber pilots. There technique of dropping from high altitudes while simultaneously cutting their engines and then bombing the snot out of their enemies in the dead of night earned them the moniker of Nacht Hexen or "The Night Witches"! The Red Army was also said to have beautiful lady snipers...
