Saturn

When I was going to comunity college in LA, one of my assignments took me to the J. Paul getty museum. At the time the museum was still at the Villa in Malibu. I remember seeing a statue of bronze depicting Saturn eating his children. I think child sacrifices may have been a way to maintain social cohesion in larger groups and cities.
